Lilian Leong, MD of Leo Burnett Hong Kong resigns; Margaret Chan steps in as GM

HONG KONG - Lilian Leong (pictured), MD of Leo Burnett Hong Kong left the agency three weeks ago. Margaret Chan, recently appointed as management supervisor, has stepped in as general manager.

Campaign Asia-Pacific confirmed the depature of Leong, with Chan saying: "Leo Burnett wants to thanks Lilian for taking the Hong Kong office to a very high level of growth, and we wish her all the best in whatever she will do."

"Agency people always like new challenges and experiences and Lilian has decided to pursue a new career change," Chan added.

Before taking up the MD role in 2009, Leong was GM and management supervisor at Leo Burnett since 2004.

Leong told Campaign that she will take a short vacation first, follow by a training course in the UK in October.
