McCann expands Korean healthcare practice

SEOUL - McCann Healthcare Worldwide has acquired Medicomm, a Korean medical communications firm, in a move to boost its presence in the market.

McCann expands Korean healthcare practice
According to John Cahill (pictured), McCann Healthcare’s group president for Japan and regional director for Asia Pacific, the company will operate alongside McCann Healthcare and HumanCare to provide communications programmes to stakeholders.

Cahill noted that the company “complements our strategic offer”, explaining that the “many synergies” that existed between the two agencies would establish strong foundations to take advantage of future opportunities.

“The acquisition provides access to more areas of new business,” Cahill said.
