Prior to his promotion, Yiu was head of search and performance for MEC Asia-Pacific, a role he retains.

Surana was general manager of digital for Havas Media Asia-Pacific, a role he left last November to join MEC.

Yiu and Surana will work on digital development across MEC’s clients in Asia-Pacific and will also be responsible for both new business and MEC’s market development. They both report to Raj Gupta, chief strategy officer, Asia-Pacific.

Their appointments are part of MEC's greater focus on bringing in senior digital talent, said Gupta. "I believe that with Siddharth and Antony heading up this important area, we’ll be able to accelerate our current success and create even better results for our clients in the region in the future.”
