The presentations taking place over the next two days, which represent the final leg of the global pitch called in May, cover Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The selection of Hong Kong to host the presentations clearly signifies the region's importance for the global conglomerate.

All of the major networks are believed to be pitching for the business. It is understood the pitch is being managed by MediaLink.

GE is the world's fourth-largest public company, according to the Forbes 2000 list. Its business spans electrical and energy services, aviation, healthcare, water treatment, medical imaging and finance.

The company works with a variety of media agencies, including OMD in several markets and Starcom in China.

The brand recently launched its 'GE Works' campaign in Southeast Asia through TBWA Kuala Lumpur and Starcom Malaysia.
