Mindshare, Optimedia and Carat bidding for L’Oreal media account in China

SHANGHAI - French cosmetic brand L'Oreal is reported to have called a traditional and digital media pitch in China, and Mindshare, Optimedia and Carat are tipped to be pursuing the account.

A source close to the pitch told Campaign Asia-Pacific that the pitch meetings are scheduled for this month. Mindshare currently holds all of L’Oreal's traditional media plus online video digital media, which it took over from ZenithOptimedia last January. Optimedia is the current digital-media agency, but does not have the online video account.

The pitch is for media business in China only, and will cover all L’Oreal brands on the mainland, according to a source.
