Mindshare retains Yakult media business in China

SHANGHAI - Mindshare China has retained the media business of Yakult, the Japanese fermented milk drink brand, according to sources familiar with the agency.

The pitch reportedly also involved Carat, Starcom, Zenith Optimedia and MPG.

Yakult entered the mainland market about nine years ago. Its goal is to increase consumer awareness, especially in tier two and three cities. M&C Saatchi is the creative agency for Yakult.
