In his new role, based in London, he will be responsible for driving the group’s commercial strategy in cooperation with group executive directors Konstantinos Filippas and Roland Nikolaou.

Jochen Lösch, CEO of MP & Silva, cited Cho's "unparalleled business skills" and said the company was proud to convince him to stay despite "numerous competitors and blue-chip companies" trying to lure him away.

"MP & Silva has a stellar portfolio of media rights, expanding sponsorship and digital divisions, and a strong network of trusted clients and partners," Cho said.
