"Last year was a strong year for MRM across the region, and we are already accelerating against that achievement in 2012," said Mark Cripps, APAC regional director for MRM. "We are on trajectory to become a significant powerhouse offering a unique blend of digital strategy, technology and performance based marketing services across APAC."

In his new role, MacKay will be responsible for driving best-in-class measurement, analytics, insight and optimization practices across the MRM APAC and Worldgroup organisations, while also handling a host of regional client engagements managed out of the Hong Kong office. In addition to his GM responsibilities, MacKay is the executive lead on the Dell Asia Pacific partnership.

In Shanghai, Lee will be responsible for overseeing the office's strategic partnership with clients and Hou is tasked with driving growth across MRM's Beijing business.

In the Hong Kong office, Christopher Brewer has left MRM, where he was regional marketing performance services and solutions director, to lead strategy and analytics at The Marketing Store Worldwide in Toronto.

Brewer, who had been looking for opportunities to move to Toronto for personal reasons, said the chance to head The Marketing Store's newly formed CRM and loyalty practice, was "too good to turn down".

“While my love for Hong Kong and Asia is immense, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where I can bring a truly global vision to The Marketing Store’s clients, building upon experience in Europe and Asia," Brewer told Campaign Asia-Pacific. "I will be looking for opportunities to work with Asia-Pacific again in a global capacity."

A source at MRM confirmed that the agency had reshuffled its HK office and promoted from within to cover Brewer's departure.
