Nikkei Business Publications names new MD for Asia

HONG KONG – Nikkei Business Publications Asia, (Nikkei BP) has appointed Kaz Yahiro as managing director for its operations in the region outside Japan.

Yahiro replaces Ken Yamaguchi, who returned to Japan at the end of last year.

The company is aiming to strengthen and expand its business activities across Asia. In the new role, Yahiro will be responsible for promoting Nikkei BP’s range of publications in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand and Australia.

Nikkei BP's titles cover areas such as business, technology and lifestyle. Core publications include Nikkei Business, Nikkei Electronics, Tech On! Chinese (a Chinese-language version of Nikkei Electronics), and Nikkei Health.
