Ogilvy appoints Andre Nair as group managing director of its Malaysia operations

KUALA LUMPUR - Ogilvy & Mather has appointed Andre Nair as group managing director in Malaysia. The appointment will take effect from 1 May.

Nair replaces Zayn Khan who is slated to take on a regional business strategy director role within Ogilvy.  

Most recently, Nair worked as a private consultant. Proir to that, he was the chief strategy officer of JWT and RMG Connect. He has also worked as the CEO of GroupM for South and Southeast Asia from 2005 to 2007.

Nair will report to John Goodman, regional director, Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN.

Goodman said: "I've known Andre for many years. He's a very broad-based thinker with a knack for innovation and the persistence to drive change through an organisation. We're very glad to have him back."
