Ogilvy & Mather wins Shangri-La

HONG KONG - Ogilvy & Mather is tipped to have won Shangri-La Hotels and Resort's business, following a full-service review that included McCann Erickson and long-term incumbent TBWA.

Brendan Inns, vice-president for brand communications at the Shangri-La, declined to comment but noted that an official statement would be made next week. 

TBWA has been working on the Shangri-La account since 1998. However, in 2007 Euro RSCG network agency BETC Luxe was handed a three-year global branding project.

Ogilvy executives declined to comment.
