Ogilvy wins big in SEA at 2010 Agency of the Year Awards

SINGAPORE - Agency Head of the Year, Creative Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year for the Southeast Asia region all went to Ogilvy in Singapore at the 2010 Agency of the Year Awards held in the Lion City last night.

Ogilvy & Mather Singapore scooped both Creative Agency of the Year and Agency Head of the Year for Stephen Mangham for the Southeast Asia region.

The third nod for Ogilvy went to OgilvyOne Worldwide Singapore for Digital Agency of the Year. Zenith Optimedia Singapore won Media Agency of the Year with Specialist Agency of the Year going to Rapp Singapore. 

Other wins for the Southeast Asia region include Lowe Vietnam's Indraneel Guha winning Account Person of the Year, Mindshare Malaysia's Cindy Chia winning Media Planner/ Buyer of the Year and Creative Juice Bangkok (TBWA)'s Thirasak Tanapatanakul taking home Creative of the Year.

In the regional awards, DDB took the crown as the Creative Network of the Year, Tribal DDB was awarded the trophy for Digital Agency of the Year and regional head of DDB Group John Zeigler took home the prize for Agency Head of the Year.

Meanwhile, OMG’s PHD was named Media Agency Network for the second year running and Mark Holden, who is currently managing partner at PHD's Australia operation, took the prize for Media Planner/ Buyer of the Year.

Elsewhere, McCann Healthcare was named as Specialist Agency of the Year and Mindshare’s Asia-Pacific’s Deepika Nikhilender took the award for Account Person of the Year.

Gillette India was named Brand of the Year and Pernod Ricard China’s Pierre Berard took home the award for Client Marketer of the Year.

448 guests attended the annual awards ceremony celebrating the companies and individuals that have not only contributed to raising industry standards but have also excelled in business performance.
