OMD Hong Kong appoints Roid Sin as general manager

HONG KONG - Roid Sin (pictured) has been appointed to take charge of OMD Hong Kong as the agency works to boost senior level management.

In his new role effective at the end of October, Sin will be responsible for developing new business and strategic offerings.

Jackson Kwok, current managing director of OMD Hong Kong, said, “Roid is an industry veteran, with 20 years of experience in the media arena across both agency and media owner sides. His appointment comes at an exciting time for our business - where strategic media communications is becoming increasingly important to our clients.

Sin was previously the general manager at Carat Hong Kong. He has also held a role as general manager for JCDecaux Digital Vision plus six years at Universal McCann in the same position.

His advertising experience includes stints at BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and McCann Erickson Guangming.
