Jeremy Paul joins ignition Factory from McCann Erikson Japan filling the role that has been vacant since Gavin Gibson left the post to join HTC in Taiwan in September 2011.

Paul where he headed their Integrated Communications Planning, developing this as a unique proposition in Japan. Prior to McCann, Jeremy was the Global Strategy Director for MediaEdge, working on accounts such as Star Alliance, Paramount Pictures Int'l, Activision Blizzard games, Chanel and Barclays Capital.

As head of the Ignition Factory team, Paul’s role is to conceive and develop brand stories which people want to share across all platforms, paid owned, earned or shared. “Clients are finding it exciting to work with a tight team of strategists and creatives who obsess about brand stories, then place these at the heart of communications strategies, using fresh consumer insight to uncover how a dry brand fact can be turned into an engaging brand story which makes people stop, think, share and act.” Paul stated.

Paul’s appointment as head of Ignition Factory is effective immediately and he will report to Barry Cupples, CEO, Omnicom Media Group, Asia Pacific who commented on the appointment: “Everyone loves a great storyteller and everything about a brand can be storytelling material. Jeremy’s background in communications will act as a catalyst in developing amazing stories for our clients’ brands and products to generate momentum for our client’s communications budget.”
