Sources close to the decision said it was a ‘mutual parting’ . OT Group appointed MediaVest as media and communications agency-of-record in 2011 following an open pitch process that involved numerous agencies, including Mindshare who was the incumbent.

The OT Group is well-known locally for brands and products such as Tango, Formula, Kiranti and Teh Gelas.

Tani Sulaeman, OT Group's chief marketing officer, said MediaVest had delivered 'unprecedented levels of strategic creativity' and 'set benchmarks never experienced before by OT Group'.

Ravi Bhaya, MediaVest's technical advisor, said, 'In the short time we have had the business with MediaVest we have had the pleasure of delivering to OT Group our Human Experience promise and making a difference to the OT Group business."

Himanshu Shekhar, head of Mindshare Indonesia, said Mindshare is excited to be reappointed by OT Group.

He said, "OT Group invited us for the discussion and to submit the proposals and then moved the business to us. OT Group operates in many categories so it is very exciting for us to work with them."
