Parle Products hires digital agency Digital Law & Kenneth in India

MUMBAI - India's biscuit and confectionary giant, Parle Products, has appointed digital marketing agency Digital Law & Kenneth for its entire products portfolio.

Digital Law & Kenneth will be responsible for developing projects across different digital spaces including social media, mobile and gaming. Anil K Nair, manaing partner at the agency said: “The challenge here is how to leverage the powerful equity of the Parle mother brand and at the same time engage the various brands that they have with their target audience.”

Pravin Kulkarnii, general manager of marketing at Parle Products, explains that the company is investing into digital this year to boost credibility for each brand. As the products tend to target the young adults and children, Kulkarnii added: “The digital market is growing rapidly in India and the awareness level is quite high especially in metros, mini metros and tier 1 cities.”

Kulkarnii revealed that the first digital campaign will be launching soon.

The brands under Parle Products in India include Parle G, Monaco, Hide & Seek, Parle Marie, Melody, Monaco Smart Chips, Digestive Marie and Krackjack.
