PCVC appoints Campaigns & Grey and DM9 for medical tourism

MANILA - The Philippine Convention & Visitors Corporation (PCVC), a non-profit government corporation with the Department of Tourism, has appointed Campaigns & Grey and DM9 JaymeSyfu for projects to position the Philippines as an ideal location for medical tourism.

Campaigns has been charged with boosting business for the conventions market and will be marketing to the likes of insurance firms, travel agents and middlemen in the tourism industry while DM9 has been charged with attracting medical tourists.

The scope of work includes road shows, videos for websites and brochures.

PCVC also acts as the marketing (sales and promotion) arm of the Department of Tourism.

Campaigns & Grey has also been handed a project by the Makati Medical Centre, the country’s premier hospital, to market the hospital ahead of its 40th anniversary.

The brief includes promoting Makati’s improved facilities and boosting its standing among other medical centres.
