POAD will be responsible for the marketing space of over 6,700 parking meters in all districts of Hong Kong, starting from this month.

POAD previously handled the advertising business of parking meters in Hong Kong from 2006 to 2007, but the Government then retained this platform from 2007.

The company cited that any automobile and mass brands would be suitable advertisers and would find a widespread network of parking meters, particularly for ‘zone domination’ marketing campaigns that attract not only drivers but also predestrians.

POAD Advertising currently also handles OOH advertising at tram shelters, taxi bodies, mass billdboards at Cross-Harbour Tunnel, and major office and hotel towers including Sina Plaza and Park Lane Hotel. Current advertisers include Canon, Citibank, HSBC and Tiffany & Co.
