Tempo's brand portfolio now handled by Publicis include Bodrex and Bodrexin, Neo Reumacyl, Vidoran kids' multivitamins and MyBaby.

The agency was appointed following a multi-stage pitch in which several local and international agencies participated.

Philip Gunawan, general manager of PT Tempo Scan Pacific, said that he was looking to build a long-term relationship with Publicis that “fulfil our current and future objectives with the tight competitive market in mind”.

Matt Wiggers, managing the Publicis team, commented, "The win is exciting and a great display for the new Publicis team and the new contagious way of working. We are very excited to work with a strong local manufacturer on these leading brands in the market”.

The above-the-line, below-the-line and retail competency, combined with the digital expertise forms a critical part of the agency’s brand team, which was lead by account director Sinatria.

“The Bodrex brand has a great heritage and holds a special place in the lives of all Indonesians. The brand has big ambitions and inspiration to match the fast developments in the emerging economy with over 240 million consumers. Our role is to create a big contagious idea that can span the brand’s product portfolio," said Sinatria.
