Rolls-Royce appoints global comms head

GLOBAL - Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has named Richard Carter director of global communications, replacing Graham Biggs, who has returned to BMW UK.

Carter will be based at the firm’s head office and manufacturing plant at Goodwood in the UK. He will assume responsibility for the brand’s global communications strategy.

Prior to his appointment, Carter worked as general manager of group communications and public affairs at BMW South Africa, a role he has held for the past eleven years. He has also served as press secretary to former South African president FW De Klerk.

Biggs has returned to Rolls Royce’s parent company BMW as corporate communications director.
