The review is being handled by consultancy R3. It has not been confirmed at this stage which agencies will compete for the account in the preliminary stage. BBDO has held the account for the past decade.

A spokesperson from R3 confirmed that the pitch was exclusively for SCA Hygiene’s creative business and would not affect the company’s relationship with OMD in any way.

SCA Hygiene is a leading player in the diaper category in Malaysia. Popular brands include Tena and Drypers. Other key markets in the region include Singapore and Thailand.
