Shafaat Hussain appointed as Fleishman Hillard Singapore's senior vice-president.

SINGAPORE - Former Text 100 regional client advocate Shafaat Hussain has joined Fleishman Hillard Singapore as its senior vice-president.

Shafaat Hussain appointed as Fleishman Hillard Singapore's senior vice-president.
Shafaat will lead the agency’s technology and telecommunications group in Southeast Asia. He will report to Tarun Deo, interim general manager and managing director of market development for Asia-Pacific. Both men were colleagues at Text 100 for seven years.

“We are delighted to have Shafaat join our team in Singapore. He loves counselling clients and is a natural strategic communicator - two important attributes that will help us deepen our value to clients and accelerate our growth as a leader in technology communications in Singapore and the region,” said Deo.

According to Deo, Shafaat has experience working with regional clients including Phillips, Lenovo, Nokia, Xerox, Advanced Micro Devices, Canon and BT.

Fleishman Hillard is also looking to fill two other positions including general manager for Singapore and head of the consumer/healthcare practice.

“We’ve found some excellent candidates for the GM role,” Deo said, but declined to say when a decision will be made.

Avaya, AT&T, Motorola, NETS, NTUC Income and Marina Bay Financial Centre are among the agency’s clients.
