Singha Beer launches global 'Transportraits' art campaign

Positioning Singha Beer as ‘a premium Thai import lager’ internationally, Singha Transportraits is a global art movement featuring a collection of visual artists and digital innovators practicing their craft on walls across the globe.

Found online and on mobile at Singhatransportriats.com, the campaign will feature renowned artists in front of live audiences, creating exclusive works of art and digital experiments on the walls of popular bars, clubs, lounges and skyscrapers in North America, Europe and Asia.

“Singha Transportraits is about a lifestyle with its own unique voice, and Singha Beer is a part of that lifestyle,” said senior branding and event officer at Singha parent company Boonrawd Trading International Theerathip Mahaguna.

Otis D. Gibson, Chicago-based founder and chief creative officer at Gertrude, said that the agency was awarded the Singha Beer business after participating in an agency review held in July this year.

The campaign will roll out starting in Paris on 19 October, followed by Los Angeles on 23 October, Tokyo on 29 October; then New York City, San Francisco and Miami through to February 2011.
