Starcom Singapore wins Banyan Tree global remit

Agency will handle all media work in 17 markets.

Banyan Tree Hotel & Resorts has appointed Starcom Singapore as its global media agency in 17 markets.

Headquartered in Singapore, Banyan Tree operates more than 40 resorts and hotels, as well as spas, retail galleries and golf courses in 28 countries.

Starcom will be responsible for media strategy, data analytics and activations for all Banyan Tree brands – which include Angsana, Cassia and Dhawa – across markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and South Korea.

Ian Loon, managing director of Starcom Singapore, said he is extremely proud of the win, while Des Pugson, Banyan Tree senior vice president and managing director, said he has confidence in the agency’s “value-added expertise”.
