Stephen Drummond departs Y&R China for Coca-Cola

SHANGHAI - Y&R China has confirmed that Stephen Drummond, its chief strategic officer of over three years, has resigned and will depart the agency at the end of April.

Drummond will take up a regional creative excellence director role at Coca-Cola.

Y&R China said it has found a senior figure outside the agency to replace Drummond and will announce the replacement news shortly.

Reported last October, Drummond was promoted to the chief strategy officer role from national planning director after the departure of Y&R Shanghai MD Henry Chan’s departure.
 
Drummond previously also held senor planning roles at Lowe China, JWT, Lintas and Y&R Australia

Y&R China has scooped a number of new businesses this year including Harbin Beer and AOR for Midea Purified Water Appliance.
