The group aims to benefit the industry, companies and consumers, and asserts that advertisers should elevate the industry to the highest levels in the future with collective support.

The nine founding members are Adapter Digital, Flexmedia, Isobar, MCFIVA, mInteraction, MRM, Newmediaplus, Omnicom Media Group, Starcom Mediavest and Zenith Optimedia.

The members have appointed Siwat Chawareewong, chief executive officer of mInteraction, as the president of the association.

“The main objectives of the DAAT are two-fold,” he said. “Firstly, it is to publish the value of digital advertising, create reliability, educate and develop human potential in the advertising industry, and share digital advertising know-how for the industry as a way to increase efficiency and demand of digital advertising.”

The second objective, he said, is to foster cooperation among the member agencies in order to raise the standards of the vocation and improve morality in digital advertising.
