Thorsten Nolte, director of Upfront Media, said Carder’s appointment is a “key hire” for the agency as it continues to grow throughout Asia.

Carder moves from Savant Degree, where he held the role of COO and head of business development.

He also has a long history as an entrepreneur, starting, building and selling multiple businesses over the past 16 years, including GoBedRock.com, a travel platform targeting the 'flashpacker' market.

The hire follows Upfront Media’s recent appointment to bring Malaysian broadband provider TIME dotCom’s website up to date.
