The account includes work for the new Touareg, Phaeton, Scirocco, New Beatle, CC, Eos and R36 models. It is believed that DDB Guoan’s responsibilities will include ATL work, strategic input and integrated ideation for digital activation.

DDB’s latest win consolidates its already close collaboration with Volkswagen. Last August, DDB Shanghai was chosen to develop the brand strategy and through-the-line activities including advertising, sales promotions and in-store development of a new Volkswagen model in Shanghai.

Last November, the auto company also awarded its Passat business in China to DDB Shanghai.

DDB holds the VW account in eight countries in Asia and 34 countries in total worldwide.
