Waggener Edstrom promotes Antoine Calendrier to China general manager

HONG KONG - To support the expansion of its APAC business, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has promoted Antoine Calendrier (pictured) to general manager for China.

Calendrier was most recently the firm’s clients services director for APAC and regional corporate practice lead, based in Hong Kong.

With experience in corporate and crisis communications, reputation management and public affairs, he has led campaigns for clients including Visa, Jetstar, Jebsen and Osram across the Greater China region.

In his new role, Calendrier will oversee the growth of the agency’s China operations as well as provide senior client counsel. In addition, he will continue to head up WE's regional corporate practice, working closely with Matthew Lackie, senior vice president for APAC, and Winnie Lai, vice president for Greater China.

Calendrier will aim to grow the firm's business across focus sectors including technology, healthcare and consumer products.

Prior to joining WE, Calendrier was the global head of corporate communications with Hennessy. Before that, he led EuroRSCG’s corporate and crisis communications department in France.
