Maxim's Cakes has appointed WE to coordinate a partnership with Hong Kong illustrator Carrie Chau on the launch of a new tote bag to be redeemed upon purchase of its hero products - Angel Cake and Devil Cake.
7-Eleven wanted to create buzz in Hong Kong for Slurpee, one of its most famous and historic brands. To accomplish this, it asked WE Hong Kong to arrange a model contest campaign to promote the drink, supported by a mix of traditional and digital PR services. WE also developed a Facebook application for recruiting contestants and getting people to vote. 7-Eleven selected WE for its demonstrated creativity, experience and complete understanding of client needs.
Porterhouse chose WE for an all-digital project, WE's first in Hong Kong. Wanting to introduce itself to China at the Shanghai World Expo, Porterhouse tasked WE with overhauling its website to tell its brand story to Chinese beer fans. WE responded with a fully bilingual site, supported by a strong content management system that deeply impressed the client.
"Maxim's, 7-Eleven and Porterhouse are key players in Hong Kong's F&B industry, and winning their business has given a big boost to the diversity of our clientele," said Winnie Lai, WE vice-president, Greater China. "With inspired creativity, profound media expertise, and excellent content creation skills in English and Chinese, WE looks forward to delivering immediate and lasting impact for every client we serve, no matter what industry they're in."
