In his new role, Adrian Stiati will lead WSG’s commercial role, including managing the sale of sponsorships, premium seating and advertising partnerships for the Singapore Sports Hub, which is due to open in 2014.
Working with WSG’s regional heads, he will also oversee the development of new stadium and arena projects.
Staiti brings 14 years' experience in the analysis, feasibility, evaluation, development and sales of commercial rights for arenas, stadiums, teams, collegiate athletic departments, concert tours and amphitheatres throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
He was formerly senior vice-president of business operations for Front Row Marketing Services, a subsidiary of international sports and entertainment giant Comcast-Spectacor. He has also served as the senior director of sponsorship sales for the NHL Philadelphia Flyers, NBA 76ers, AHL Phantoms, NLL Wings, Comcast Sports Net Philadelphia and Wells Fargo Center, and has been instrumental in developing sponsorships for many other start-up arenas, stadiums and teams.
