The contract came into effect in September, according to the source close to the account.

The brand has not engaged in any major campaigns recently and its media buying has mostly been on print. According to AdmanGo, the brand's monitored media adspend for 2012 was US$8.5 million (HK$67 million).

In the local broadband sector, Hong Kong Broadband Network competes against major player PCCW’s Netvigator, as well as a few smaller companies.

In the local new business tally so far this year, ZenithOptimedia Hong Kong has won Wing On Travel and SCA (a global account win).

DraftFCB is currently the creative partner for the brand.
