VIDEO: Eight Custom Media's Bjorn Fjelddahl

HONG KONG - Bjorn Fjelddahl, managing director of Eight Custom Media in Hong Kong, says there is room for growth in the custom publishing industry in Asia.

During an interview with Media, Fjelddahl said there is no real custom publishing industry in Asia yet; there are a number of companies but there is no industry organisation supporting them. He adds that clients however are becoming more aware of the benefits of custom publishing and they are growing as a business which means the market is there.

Airlines used to be the pinnacle of the business but nowaday the most active clients come from a variety of sectors including automobile, property, banking & finance and FMCG.

A self-proclaimed techno geek and die-hard champion of print magazines, Fjelddahl admits he is already on the list to buy Apple's new iPad.
