Watch: Vietnam government releases catchy coronavirus PSA

This jingle featuring dancing viruses is making Ad Nut shake its tailfeathers.

Messages of proper handwashing are abound as governments and health organisations tackle the coronavirus epidemic. The best-styled PSA that Ad Nut has seen so far has to be this one released by Vietnam’s Ministry of Health. Produced in true V-pop style, the song is an infectious (sorry) melody urging people to wash their hands, avoid touching their faces, and to keep away from crowded spaces.

The original video has raked in just under three million views and also spurred a dance challenge on TikTok where people around the world—including John Oliver—have participated in.

By following the video's guidance, it is hoped the only thing Ad Nut will be catching this virus season is this tune. And sorry to Mediacorp, but this certainly beats their Live Aid-style music video

Ad Nut is a surprisingly literate woodland creature that for unknown reasons has an unhealthy obsession with advertising. Ad Nut gathers ads from all over Asia and the world for your viewing pleasure, because Ad Nut loves you.
