Stirratt (pictured) is former chief revenue officer for MySpace and former executive vice president of digital advertising at MTV Networks.

As CRO, Stirratt will be responsible for all field-facing areas, including sales, marketing account management, delivery and consulting at all of Acxiom’s US and international operations, including Asia-Pacific, where it has offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Mengniu and Carrefour are the company's main clients in China and the region, respectively.

Stirratt reports to Scott Howe, Acxiom's chief executive officer and president, who also joined from MySpace last year.

While serving as CRO at MySpace, Stirratt established MySpace Studio, an in-house creative think tank to develop new products, original content and unique marketing programs for advertisers and consumers. At MTV Networks, she oversaw digital advertising sales, strategy and operations across all web properties.

“Nada is considered one of the top digital sales leaders in the world, having held senior positions at some of the most iconic companies in the advertising and digital space,” said Howe. “Acxiom is in transformation mode, and Nada’s deep knowledge in digital advertising, integrated marketing and delivery offers the perfect fit to advance our marketing and data services, client-centric culture and global footprint.”

The appointment underscores a transition occuring in media, where inventory is too often thought of as a commodity, said Rob Norman, CEO GroupM North America. “The relationship between the buyers and sellers of media, and the collectors and analyzers of data is a critical axis in the future of our business," he said. "Nada's arrival at Acxiom signals the company's desire to build those bridges."

Founded in 1969, Acxiom is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, in the US, and serves worldwide clients from locations in the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America.
