Ad Club Bombay asks agencies to return Creative Abby metals wrongfully awarded
In an official statement by president Bhaskar Das of the Advertising Club Bombay, it has been confirmed that, following allegations made to the award committee, the Club has discovered 29 instances where the Abby judging process has been breached involving multiple agencies, out of 4117 entries for the awards.

The voting breach is the result of certain jury members voting for advertisements produced by their own agencies.

Das stated: “As the Awards have already been handed over for the current year, the Club has decided to point out the instances of this breach to the respective winners and would appeal to their conscience and better judgment to voluntarily return the Awards they have received.”

He adds that the Club has taken note of the shortcomings in the process and has decided to take steps to further tighten the process in subsequent years.
