Zaim (pictured) has more than 15 years experience in the media industry across multiple roles in strategic planning, digital, insights and trading. During this time he has been based in the Greater China region, with more than six years of experience in China. Zaim joined Aegis Media China as executive vice president of strategic resources in 2010.
His 11-year Greater China career includes business director roles at Initiative Taiwan for more than four years and UM's Beijing office, handling the Intel account.

Lee told Campaign that Zaim has a solid background in media, especially on the digital media front, and will bring in lots of innovative strategies for integrating traditional and digital media. He is well-liked by clients and colleagues and helped to improve the talent level of the Carat China team, Lee added.

As reported yesterday, Seth Grossman, currently managing director of Carat China, has been promoted to the newly created role of chief executive officer for Vizeum Asia-Pacific, charged with strengthening the brand across region, including key markets in Greater China, Australia, India and Malaysia.
Earlier this year, Carat China also promoted of Hristo Cui, previously assistant vice president of digital planning, to the newly-created role of general manager – digital, while Joanne Law became managing director of Northern China, replacing Jackie Kuo, who resigned in November after 12 years.
Clients of Carat China include Nokia, adidas, Pfizer and Philips.
