With the reappointment, Blugrapes will be responsible for developing and deploying Facebook marketing solutions to market Ad:tech Singapore 2011, Asia's largest digital marketing event, to marketers.

With a Facebook page set up, it enables attendees and regional marketing professionals to interact, exchange the latest news, information, trends and ideas. In addition, registration to special marketing workshops will also be available on the page.

One such workshop, 'The what, why and how of social media' will cover Facebook marketing success measures and a new method for marketers to evaluate their social media campaigns beyond fan count, as well ass the latest trends in location-based social media.

"Social media marketing and online advertisements are no longer new media, as they are now essentials to any effective marketing mix. Hence as organisers of the region's key digital marketing event, Facebook marketing for Ad:tech Singapore is essential," pointed out Paul Beckley, vice-president of DMG World Media, the event's organisers.

Ryan Lim, business director of Blugrapes, said, "We are extremely glad to be working closely with the organisers once again to reach out and engage even more marketers through Facebook marketing. These are exciting times for Asia's digital marketers as we see social media marketing evolving to include location-based social media and localised group purchasing, thus changing the consumer behaviours and requiring adjustments to marketer's mindsets and approach."
