Cheil wins 2012 Expo creative

SEOUL - The 2012 Yeosu International Expo Committee has selected Cheil Worldwide for creative duties ahead of the event in the Korean coastal city, following a pitch that included several other domestic agencies.

A spokesperson for Cheil said that the committee was looking to create “eager anticipation” among potential visitors in the run-up to the exposition.

The agency is expected to base the work on Yoesu’s geographical traits, and on the theme of ‘Finding the beginning from the end’.

According to the spokesperson, initial work for the project is set to roll out in 2010.
