John Lucas has been appointed as the managing director for DDB Philippines and chief marketing officer for DDB Group, leading the team in handling the ad agency’s creative, strategic planning and account management services.

He will also help ensure end-to-end integration from advertising to digital and PR.

Lucas has more than 20 years of experience in insight-driven planning and brand building. Prior to this appointment, he was managing director of Tribal DDB, DDB Group's digital agency.

Aileen Dalisay has been promoted to replace Lucas. She joined Tribal DDB Philippines in 2008 and has since led teams working on brands such as PLDT, Smart, Unilab and L’Oreal.

Previous roles include time spent at mobile entertainment provider Information Gateway, prepaid brands-Smart Buddy and Talk N’ Text, as well as brands like fashion retail group Bench and Unilab.

Timmy Jayme, meanwhile, relinquishes his role as managing director for DDB Philippines to expand his function as group COO. He will be heading the group’s agency operations in terms of business strategy development, process improvement, operational excellence and people development. He will also continue to head the DDB PR and DDB Health businesses.

Roy Santiago rejoins DDB Group as managing director at Touch DDB Philippines. He resurfaces following a few months of retirement and a stint as marketing consultant of Philippine Airlines.

He is tasked to step up channel planning and media management services by repositioning the agency as media neutral; developing content-driven programmes and establishing strategic tools and processes to facilitate the process.

In his new role, Santiago will work closely with DDB Philippines/DM9-JaymeSyfu, Tribal DDB Philippines, the PR Group and RAPP-Field Outsource Asia.
