Osorio returns to her native Australia after a stint at The Red Consultancy London. While based there, she led global health and consumer campaigns for clients including The British Coffee Association, GlaxoSmithKline and Nestle, along with several UK government departments.

In her new role, she will lead Edelman's national health and wellness practice, with a specialisation in food and beverage marketing. She will work across a portfolio of current Edelman clients such as Johnson & Johnson and Wrigley.

Osorio will report directly to Michelle Hutton, CEO Australia, and Alexandra Kelly, general manager Sydney.

She brings over ten years experience covering the health and wellness, and consumer marketing sectors.

Alexandra Kelly, general manager of Edelman Sydney, said, “Having worked with Jo previously in this market, I am excited to have her join our growing team here at Edelman. Clients want us to deliver deep consumer engagement and creative execution yet still need us to navigate the complex stakeholder world in which they operate. Thus, Jo’s background and experience makes her uniquely placed to drive this work for us.”
