Glock assumes the role to help TheTMSway globally expand from Asia and advance its 'Media to Mobile' platform. He will help develop mobile platforms and monetisation strategies for brands and marketers.

He is currently the president of the World Federation of Advertisers.

“Mobile has been an afterthought for too long for too many agencies and advertisers. It is time that mobile gets a front seat in business and equity building communication,” Glock said of his appointment.

“We are a young company and it was a real ‘test’ for us when we met Bernhard for the first time and presented our vision of the evolution of marketing in the next decade,” said Frederick Saurat, co-founder and CEO of TheTMSway. “Following on from his enthusiastic reaction we rapidly decided to team up in order to leverage our business proposition for global expansion.”

The news comes as TheTMSway concurrently launches an updated version of its platform for marketers, which allows for mobile campaign creation and distribution in real time from off and online media. The company additionally aims to launch a platform to better manage social network marketing activities.

TheTMSway has launched market-specific, regional and global campaigns for brands and media including Axe, Nike, Toblerone, StarTV and TV5 Monde.
