Walker has been with the agency since 2010, when he joined as head of sports marketing and branded entertainment. Morgan will leave at the end of the month to pursue other interests.

As Hong Kong managing director, Walker will be responsible for restructuring the office in line with a programme implemented last year to become more adept in the areas of digital and social media. He will report to Matt Neale, president of GolinHarris International.

The ‘g4’ programme is based on four global teams of specialists that aim to provide clients with business insights and consultation on the use of earned, paid, owned, and shared media.

Walker has around 17 years’ experience in marketing and PR in the region. Before joining GolinHarris, he was president of Leisure Resources, a Hong Kong-based sports marketing consultancy.

GolinHarris' operations in mainland China and Taiwan are led by Darby Doll and Stanley Liu respectively.
