The contract is worth US$960,983 and will run until 4 November. It covers design, print and production services for publications, public information materials and printed merchandise for the meeting of world leaders.

CHOGM will host delegates from a majority of the 54 Commonwealth nations, including UK Prime Minister David Cameron, India's vice-president Hamid Ansari and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razzak.

Warren Apps, general manager at Grey Canberra, says the project represents a significant piece of the Australian government business, while Chris Robey, director of design and print services at Grey Canberra, explained the project offers an opportunity for the agency to show its capabilities in managing a complex group of projects.

Daniel Gleeson, director of media and communications for the CHOGM taskforce, says he is confident that the agency will provide the materials on time, despite extremely tight deadlines.
