Grey Mumbai wins Ferrero's creative account in India

MUMBAI - Italian confectionery giant Ferrero has appointed Grey Mumbai to its advertising account across India.

Grey Mumbai wins Ferrero's creative account in India
Grey Mumbai won the creative account in a pitch that included JWT, Euro RSCG and Bates. The brand’s incumbent creative agency is Orchard Advertising.

The new agency will be tasked to handle Ferrero’s iconic brand Ferrero Rocher, as well as its other popular confectionary brands including tic tac, Kinder and Nutella across the Indian sub-continent.

“Our commitment to building brands through our knowledge of the consumer along with our ability to produce exciting creative work won us this business,” remarks Jishnu Sen, chief operating officer Grey Group India. “The brands are legendary and we are looking forward to doing them justice in India.”

Last September, PHD was appointed as the media AOR for Ferrero in Australia, following Maxus's resignation of the account last August after a four-year relationship.

According to AC Nielson, the chocolate market in India is growing at 18-20 per cent per annum. Cadbury is the market leader with a 72 per cent market share.
