EmporioAsia Leo Burnett won the account following a pitch in November. It is unclear who is the incumbent on the account.

The agency’s initial task is to set a digital strategy and revamp their company's website.

“Not only have we lots of experience in working with global brands,” said MD Vincent Kobler, “but we have successfully helped a few Chinese brand clients to ‘go global’."

One of the agency's current clients, Yingli Solar, became the first ever Chinese company to sponsor the FIFA World Cup, held in South Africa this year.

Currently Robam's business is still mainly focused in China, targeting the medium to luxury kitchen appliances market and distributed at homeware superstores and malls like Homemart.

Robam marketing director Zhang Xuan, said, “We believe that EmporioAsia Leo Burnett will be able to take our brand to the next level, based on their rich experiences with other Chinese brands.”

On 23 November, Robam went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange to raise funds for further expansion.
