Stuff and FourFourTwo are sister publications of Campaign Asia-Pacific.

Now in their seventh year, the MPAS awards recognise the brightest talents and best work within Singapore’s media publishing industry.

Stuff was the big winner of the technology media of the year, whilst football publication FourFourTwo picked the top award in the health/fitness/sports media of the year category.

Commenting on the awards, Andy Jackson, brand director for Stuff and FourFourTwo said: “This is a very proud story for our small team here to be recognised in this manner by the Singapore media industry in our first full year of operation. For both brands to be named the best in their specialist categories is immensely satisfying and gives us a great platform to build on here in Southeast Asia.”

In February this year, Stuff announced that it was reducing its print frequency in Singapore to focus on digital expansion. As part of its digital drive, the brand also unveiled a new-look website and a new branded-content division.

Mongoose Publishing was the biggest winner on the night, picking up the Media Company of the Year award for the second year running, as well as collecting the highest number of wins overall, followed closely by SPH Magazines.

Mongoose’s wins included Mobile App of the Year (Time Out Singapore), Consumer Website of the Year (Time Out Singapore), Lifestyle/Entertainment Media of the Year (Esquire) and Men’s Media of The Year (Esquire). Meanwhile, SPH took home the top awards for Food Media of the Year (The Peak Selections: Gourmet & Travel), Fashion Media of the Year (Harper’s Bazzar), Women’s Media of the Year (Singapore Women's Weekly) and Luxury Media of the Year (The Peak Singapore).
