Ogilvy PR was the incumbent agency on the HDS account.

With the win, Hoffman Agency Singapore will lead HDS' public relations initiatives in SIngapore, and be responsible for overseeing its media strategy and brand elevation initiatives that would help HDS develop a sense of connection and credibility with its stakeholders.

HDS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi and part of the Hitachi Information Systems & Telecommunications Division, provides mid-range and high-end storage systems, software and services.

"We're thrilled with our latest win, which comes on the back of other recent ones including PayPal and the Centre for Creative Leadership. Hitachi Data Systems is a leader in storage virtualisation and cloud and they tell a great business story globally, thus we are excited to be part of shaping their communications strategy in Singapore," explained Mayda Jutahkiti, general manager of The Hoffman  Agency Singapore.
