The partnership involves online, on-the-ground and onscreen work across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, to be shown until October.

In addition, AFC and HKTB will host Hong Kong celebrities, who will promote the diversity of Hong Kong cuisine and their favourite eating haunts.

David Leung, regional director, South and Southeast Asia, of HKTB said: “We see our partnership with the Asian Food Channel as an excellent platform to present Hong Kong’s delectable gastronomic experience to everyone throughout the region and reinforce the city’s strength as a “gourmet paradise”, not just for quality food, but also excellent wines from different origins.”

Maria Brown, co-founder and managing director of AFC, added: “It is a great opportunity for HKTB to leverage on the extensive reach the Asian Food Channel has established to raise the profile and spread the word about Hong Kong Food & Wine Year.”

The ‘Hong Kong Food & Wine Year’ aims to celebrate the territory’s status as the culinary capital of Asia and will kick off with a wine and dine festival from the end of October to early-November.
