HTC launches website domination campaign in Hong Kong

At midnight on 23 November, the HTC campaign promoting its HTC Desire HD model will launch with a wrap on the homepages of major social media portals like Discuss.com.hk and Uwants.com. HTC will be taking over the websites with rich media advertisements, also incorporating graphics into the existing site layouts.

HTC’s ‘site domination’ campaign marks the first time this has been done on Discuss.com.hk and Uwants.com, the leading discussion forums in Hong Kong.

HTC is also running promotions on MSN and Sina

Kevin Huang, CEO of Pixel Media highlights that if one looks closer, the homepages of the hosting sites for HTC is redesigned with a doodling-style. Column headlines, website logos and navigation bars are all unified with the illustration work of HTC’s recent ‘You’ campaign.

Terry Chung, country manager of HTC Hong Kong, commented, “Securing a dominant position on these popular forums is particularly effective for us to further enforce our communications message to our customers and target audience.”

According to Comscore Media Metrix, all the sites combined will bring in 3.8 million unique users per month.
